As the year 2024 came to a close, we had the incredible opportunity to spend an unforgettable week in Bali. This trip wasn’t just a vacation—it was a reward for our efforts with Fireflies and a testament to the power of teamwork and dedication. The entire trip was covered by the company, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of our lives.
Luxury and Comfort at Sol Melia
We stayed at the magnificent five-star Sol Melia hotel, where every detail spoke of luxury and comfort. Surrounded by lush greenery, exquisite pools, and impeccable service, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and recharge.
Exploring Bali’s Treasures
Our team had one unforgettable day packed with exploration and adventure. We started with the breathtaking rice terraces, a sight of endless green beauty. Then we ventured to the Monkey Forest in Ubud, where playful monkeys added a touch of fun to our visit. Lunch was a highlight as we enjoyed a local specialty—crispy duck—at a fantastic restaurant. The flavors were extraordinary!
The day continued with a visit to a bustling market, a tour of the royal palace, and a mesmerizing waterfall. Each stop was a reminder of Bali’s rich culture and natural beauty.
Inspiring Training Sessions
We dedicated two days to training sessions, where our director shared insights about business building and the importance of teamwork. These sessions were not only educational but also deeply motivating, providing us with tools to grow both personally and professionally.
Special Moments for Everyone
One of the most unique experiences was when my husband joined our director and another mentor on a fishing trip. They proved to be quite successful, as the hotel’s restaurant prepared their catch for a delightful dinner that evening. It was a truly special and personal touch to the trip.
Meanwhile, I joined some of my Czech colleagues on an extraordinary boat trip. We had the chance to snorkel and witness majestic manta rays in their natural habitat. Seeing these gentle giants up close was an awe-inspiring moment—one that words can hardly describe.
A Heartfelt Ending
I am immensely grateful to Fireflies for giving us such a magical experience. This trip was not only a celebration of our achievements but also a reminder of the wonderful community we are building together. Closing 2024 with such joy and inspiration sets the tone for an even brighter year ahead.

Our Long-Awaited Trip to Australia: Adventures in Gold Coast and Beyond
After months of planning, our dream finally came true – we embarked on an unforgettable journey to Australia to visit my sister in Gold Coast. Thanks to Fireflies, we stayed in fantastic accommodations in the heart of Surfers Paradise, completely free of charge, making our vacation even more extraordinary.
Arrival in Brisbane and First Adventures
Our flight landed in Brisbane, where my sister and her boyfriend were eagerly waiting for us. It was heartwarming to reunite with them after so long. The very next day, we headed to Byron Bay, where we had a unique experience – my sister’s boyfriend taught us how to surf! After a fun-filled day in the waves, we ended it with a breathtaking sunset at the iconic Byron Bay Lighthouse.
Nature, Wildlife, and Beaches
One of the highlights of our trip was visiting Coombabah National Park. We had the chance to see kangaroos and koalas up close, which was especially exciting for our kids, who were thrilled by every moment spent with these fascinating animals.
We also visited Sea World on the Gold Coast, where we were mesmerized by the dolphin and seal shows, as well as many other stunning marine creatures. Of course, we couldn’t miss the beautiful beaches. Burleigh Heads quickly became one of our favorites, where we also enjoyed a delightful picnic in the nearby park.
Gastronomy and Culture
Australia charmed us not only with its natural beauty but also with its culinary diversity. We tasted dishes from around the world – from delicious Japanese cuisine at the Marriott hotel, to Australian cheeses and steaks at Mr. PPs Rooftop and Laneway, and the best Mexican food ever at Montezumas Surfers Paradise.
One of the highlights of our gastronomic journey was dinner at Vapiano, where we indulged in fresh Italian specialties. We also visited local markets, where we enjoyed traditional Hungarian lángos and made new friends.
Relaxation and Exploration
An unforgettable part of our trip was exploring Springbrook National Park, with its stunning waterfalls and breathtaking scenery. During our downtime, we relaxed at the pool of our Vibe hotel, sipping cocktails and savoring delicious food.
We also had fun at The Big Octopus, a game arcade that was a hit not only with the kids but also with the adults. Every day was filled with new discoveries and unforgettable moments.
Australia in Our Hearts
This trip was truly a dream come true. Gold Coast and its surroundings completely enchanted us with their beauty, hospitality, and diversity. We already know this won’t be our last visit to Australia – our hearts will always long to return.
Australia isn’t just a destination; it’s a place full of life, experiences, and endless opportunities that deserves to be experienced firsthand.

This year, I had the incredible opportunity to attend the Abu Dhabi Leaders Camp organized by Fireflies. It was not just a professional milestone but a deeply personal one as well. This journey turned into a celebration of connections, leadership, and family, leaving a lasting impression on my heart.
The Role of an Interpreter
One of the highlights of this camp was being the official Hungarian-Slovak interpreter for Fireflies. This role allowed me to build a strong connection with the company’s director and showcase my language skills in a professional setting. It was a gratifying experience that strengthened my confidence and sense of purpose within the organization.
A Heartwarming Reunion
Adding a personal touch to this adventure was the reunion with my sister, who traveled all the way from Australia to join the camp. Sharing this unique experience together made it even more special, and it’s a memory I will cherish forever.

The camp was filled with enriching sessions on leadership and business building. We learned from top leaders about the importance of teamwork, clear communication, and building a strong community. These lessons are invaluable as I work towards my goal of establishing a supportive and dynamic team in Slovakia.

More Adventures with Fireflies in Medjugorje
Back in Medjugorje!
We organized our trip with the help of Fireflies again and had yet another fantastic experience. Originally, we planned to stay in Medjugorje from August 1st to August 6th, and we booked our accommodation through the Fireflies portal at a very favorable price.
However, at the beginning of our journey, an unexpected complication arose: due to an important school event, we needed to arrive earlier. We called Fireflies customer service to find a solution. They were very helpful and quickly found us another hotel, also at a favorable price. Moreover, we managed to cancel the original reservation without any issues and got our money back.
This was our first trip to Medjugorje with the girls, and we decided to drive to make the most of the journey. We enjoyed every minute of the trip, and even stopped at the seaside, where the girls could swim in the sea for the first time.
When we arrived in Medjugorje, a beautiful hotel with exceptionally friendly staff awaited us. My husband and I had been here before – it was where we first met and where he proposed to me. That's why it's a tradition for us to visit every year if we can. We can't wait for next year!
During our trip, we also qualified for another training, which will take place at the end of August in Abu Dhabi. We'll definitely report on that as well. Additionally, we're preparing for our November trip to Australia, for which we already have our plane tickets and accommodation booked. We can't wait for more adventures!

Business Trip to Mátraháza: Training, Wellness, and Family Time
Our recent trip to Mátraháza was a wonderful blend of business and family time. This time, it was a business trip, and we traveled with my husband and daughters, bringing my mother along to help out while we attended our training sessions. We used the Fireflies online booking portal again for this one-night trip, and it proved to be an excellent choice.
We stayed at the recently renovated Lifestyle Hotel Mátra, which offered half-board accommodation. The weather was perfect, allowing my husband and daughters to enjoy the wellness facilities. The hotel was fantastic, providing a comfortable and welcoming environment for the entire family.
The training sessions were excellent, offering a great opportunity to recharge and gain new insights. We were thrilled to meet role models whom we greatly admire. It was a joy to share our successes with colleagues and mentors, and we had many engaging conversations and fun moments together.
A highlight of the trip was the presence of the CEO and co-owner of Fireflies, which was a great honor. Their participation added a special touch to the event, making it even more memorable.
The combination of professional development and family relaxation made this trip very special. We left feeling inspired, recharged, and grateful for the opportunity to combine business with quality family time. We are eagerly looking forward to the next training session, which is scheduled for August.

Family Adventure in Budapest: Easter Programs and Perfect Accommodation
It was time again to explore the magical city of Budapest with my family. This time, we embarked on the journey with my daughters and husband, planning to spend just one night in this wonderful city. We already knew that the Fireflies online booking portal was reliable and convenient, so we used it once more to arrange our accommodation.
We chose the NH Collection Budapest Hotel and were not disappointed. The hotel met all our expectations, our room was extremely spacious and comfortable, and even had a kitchen, which was very practical for traveling with children. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide selection and delicious dishes. The hotel's services and the friendliness of the staff further enhanced our experience.
The timing of our trip was perfect as we arrived just before Easter, allowing us to participate in special programs. We visited the Breier farm in Pomáz, where they organized amazing Easter events. Our daughters were absolutely thrilled with the magic shows, the market, and the petting zoo. The entire venue was filled with life and joy, and we were delighted to be part of this enchanting holiday program.
On our way back, we stopped by the farm again to enjoy a bit more of the Easter atmosphere. The girls loved the bunnies and lambs, and we happily watched as our family spent quality time together.
Everything went smoothly during our trip, thanks to the Fireflies portal. Once again, it proved to be the best choice for us, as we secured our accommodation below market price and everything went exactly as we had hoped. We were so satisfied that we have already booked our next two major vacations. One is the previously mentioned Medjugorje, and the other is a truly big adventure: Australia.
Of course, we are not only looking forward to these major trips, but we also plan smaller excursions and possibly business trips. One thing is certain: we only use the Fireflies portal for our bookings, as convenience, reliability, and favorable prices are important to us.
This trip once again showed that Budapest always has something new and exciting for us. We can't wait to return and enrich ourselves with more experiences in this magical city.

We decided to add a little magic to our trip by train, especially for our young children. The 40-minute journey was not only suitable for excited children, but the experience of riding the train was unmissable for them.
Crowne Plaza Budapest: moments by the railway station
We booked our accommodation at the Crowne Plaza Budapest through fireflies.com, which is located right next to the train station. This was not only convenient, but we didn't have to walk far with tired little legs. The accommodation met all our needs and the experience was exactly what we had hoped for.
